To all Parents/Guardians,
RE: CIRCULAR LETTER TERM ONE 2022 – (REOPENING)
Warm greetings and appreciation from the Board of Governors, Management and the Staff of Halcyon High School. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for the far he has brought and preserved us. I also thank the parents and guardians who have kept our children all this long during the Lock down.
For the year 2022, we will be governed by the theme “Strive for Perfection.”
Monday, 10th January, 2022, the school reopens for TERM I with all students (S.1 – S.6). It should be noted that all learners have been promoted to the next class of study and this calls for extra efforts from both the learners, parents and the school staff if the required standards have to be achieved.
Following the above explanation, and for the good of the learners, we request all parents/guardians to pay our usual fees and requirements as follow;

Your child will NOT be allowed into the school for Term ONE 2022 without all the requirements and after making full or part payment of at least shs. 300,000. After making the first payment, the parents with challenges will only be allowed a period of THREE (3) WEEKS to clear the balances. Your timely support is therefore required.
In case of financial matters, make the best use of our SCHOOL PAY SYSTEM – CODES (For fees) and MOBILE MONEY (For other requirements, pocket money and transport for learners). Use administrator’s contacts.
Important Information;
- For compliance with COVID 19 protocols and SOPs, learners who are of the recommended age for vaccination should do so before reporting to school and a card carried along.
- Parents of senior three learners (2022) should share with their learners on optional subjects before reporting or on reporting.
- Each learner should carry atleast five (5) pieces of re-usable masks while the school COVID task force will do its best to avail more SOPs.
IMPORTANT DATES & EVENTS FOR TERM ONE 2022
- Opening of Term I 2022: Reporting is staggered as follows;
Friday, 07th JANUARY, 2022 Senior Six and Senior Four Students.
Saturday, 08th JANUARY, 2022, Senior Three and Senior Two.
Sunday, 09th JANUARY, 2022, Senior One and Senior Five. (New Students).
Reporting days and time should strictly be adhered to. Reporting time is from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Visitation Day: We will be guided by the Ministry of Education and National Covid-19 Task force.
- UNEB Registration for Candidates: We will be guided by UNEB
- Closing Date for Term I 2022: Friday, 8th APRIL, 2022.

Glory be to God Almighty who has enabled us start a new academic year, am convinced that with his guidance, we’ll do an exceedingly good job. I look forward to a fruitful academic year 2022. Let’s strive to be true to our theme, mission and core values with God as our helper.
