Our Teaching Staff

Great Teachers Make Great Schools. We Would Not “Be Halcyon” Without the Men and Women Who Teach, Advise, Coach, Mentor, Comfort, And Celebrate Our Boys and Girls.
Our teaching staff is made up of 40 full-time and 25 part time  teaching professionals. Recruitment usually takes place at the beginning of the year. There are ongoing opportunities for staff development through INSET days and visiting professionals to ensure that our teachers remain up to date with the very latest developments in learning and pedagogy. Initial contracts are for three years with many extending on a three-year basis thereafter. We are fortunate to have a very experienced, united and dedicated teaching team.
